What is Brow Lamination?

Brow Lamination is a way of

enhancing what you already have by manipulating the hairs in an upward direction with chemicals to move them into your desired shape, resulting in fuller brows and reduction of any gap areas. The treatment is often paired with a brow tint for a bolder enhanced look. The service produces a lifted brow effect and is a favorite "go-to" for many! Here is what to expect at your brow lamination service.

The process of brow lamination is very similar to a lash lift. First your technician will apply an adhesive to help your brows move in an upward direction. Then a processing solution is applied and will remain on your brows for 3-6 minutes, depending on your brow's density.

That solution is then removed and followed by a neutralizer, or sealant. This step remains on the brows for an additional 5 minutes.

Once the neutralizer has set, you will have the option of applying a brow tint. This is highly recommended as it will add much more definition to your brows. Tinting also reduces the need to fill in your brows with a pencil or powder.

The last step in a conditioning sealant. This ensures your brow will stay healthy and at their best!

The treatment lasts for approximately 6 weeks. It is recommended that you do not wax your brows for two days prior or post service. You can repeat the treatment every 8-10 weeks, depending on your brow's density.

We hope you will give brow lamination a try! We are loving the results and find that it is a game changer for our morning makeup routine!

The cost at Amata Salon is $62 for a lamination and tint, and $48 for the lamination alone, though we highly recommend pairing the two together!
